After eight editions of the Belgian Travel Blog Awards, it's time for a new chapter! With Soirée Congé, Thx.agency is launching a brand-new event concept that brings together Belgium's travel influencer and content creator community. No more award show, but an exclusive evening filled with inspiring conversations, new connections and, above all, a shared passion for travel. The first edition will take place on Thursday 25 March 2027 at WOLF in Antwerp.
From the Belgian Travel Blog Awards to Soirée Congé
Since 2017, the Belgian Travel Blog Awards have brought together Belgian travel influencers and content creators. What started as an award show has grown over the years into an annual gathering for bloggers, influencers, photographers and other travel content creators.
After eight editions, the BTBA came to an end in 2026. But one thing quickly became clear: the community that had grown over the years wanted to keep coming together. Beyond the awards, the event was always about catching up with fellow creators, sharing experiences and making new connections.
And that's exactly why we're introducing Soirée Congé. Twice a year, we'll bring together 30 Belgian travel influencers and content creators for a relaxed evening centred around connection, inspiration and shared experiences.

Bringing Belgium's travel creator community together again
What makes Soirée Congé special? It's all about the people behind the travel stories. Twice a year, Thx.agency brings together a select group of 30 Belgian travel influencers and content creators who share the same passion: exploring the world and inspiring others to do the same.
No awards or competition, just a relaxed evening to catch up with familiar faces, meet new creators and exchange experiences with people who truly understand what content creation involves. From unforgettable travel experiences to the challenges of being a creator, there's room to talk about it all.
Inspiration and new connections
Alongside plenty of opportunities to network, each edition will focus on a relevant topic from the creator world. An inspiring keynote, selected based on the community's interests, will set the stage for an open discussion where experiences and insights can be shared.
Attending creators will also have the opportunity to meet Soirée Congé's partners and discover new destinations. Afterwards, conversations will continue over a delicious walking dinner and open bar. Because ultimately, Soirée Congé is all about what made the BTBA so special for so many years: bringing together people who share the same passion.
