After nine editions, the Belgian Travel Blog Awards are preparing for their final chapter. On Saturday 17 October, Belgium’s best travel bloggers and content creators will be honoured one last time at Van der Valk Sélys in Liège. The jury has now selected the nominees who are in the running to take home one of the coveted awards during this final edition. Mel Zagers leads the nominations this year with four, followed by Michiel Pieters with three. Alongside familiar faces, several new names have also made it onto this year’s shortlist: the duo behind Tasting Sunsets immediately secured two nominations. The public also gets one final say: voting for the Audience Choice Award remains open until 1 October.
The nominees were selected by a four-member professional jury consisting of Niel Van Herck (Tjoolaard), Karolien Joniaux (Libelle), Sarah Levin Weinberg (Stellar Tech) and Isabelle Jadot (Liège Tourist Office). They assessed the entries across the different categories and determined who will be in the running for one of the final Belgian Travel Blog Awards on 17 October.
